The animal list shows all the live animals on your farm. From here you can search, compare data at a glance and open each animal’s record.
1Open the animal list
Open the animal list of your farm in the app. All your live animals appear there.
2Read each animal’s data
In each row you can see data at a glance: name, ID, sex, category by age, breed, date of birth, last recorded weight and weight gain, which is calculated from the weights you recorded.
3Search for an animal
Tap the magnifying glass at the top right and type what you know about the animal: name, ID, category, etc.
4Learn about the FAMACHA exam
OvinApp lets you record the FAMACHA exam, a method to estimate the degree of anemia caused by parasites. To learn what it is and how it is used, read the blog article on the FAMACHA method.
5Open the record
Tap an animal to see all its data. Continue in Animal record.
Remember that the list only includes live animals. Those that died can be found in Health.
